I am currently a Senior Research Analyst at GovLoop. GovLoop.com is a knowledge network for government employees. In 2011, I received a Masters of Public Administration degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. I also received a bachelors degree in Political Science and minor in Business Administration from Duquesne University.

GovLoop’s mission is “to connect government to improve government.” This is done through the creation of blogs, forum discussions, guides, research reports, and also comprehensive resources for public sector job seekers. The GovLoop network has more than 100,000 members,  across all sectors and levels of government. Our membership includes state, local, federal, academia and private sector professionals.

In my role, I author and manage the creation of research reports, write monthly blog series for GovLoop’s industry partners, manage qualitative and quantitative research projects, and work diligently to identify best practices to help facilitate knowledge sharing across government. Since graduating from Maxwell, I have conducted research covering numerous areas of government, everything from cloud computing to hiring reform. Many examples can be found on this website, by viewing my blogs or current research.

I am available to speak in front of business, government, trade associations, and academic groups. Please feel free to send me an email to discuss speaking opportunities at pat@govloop.com. I’d be happy to contribute to your event as a speaker, panelist or moderator. Some examples of previous speaking engagements can be found here.
